History of Tango Pastry by Argentine Chef

History of Tango Pastry

The idea for the Tango Pastry project was developed by Sandra, the former owner, in November 2010. And it was put into operation in January 2011. From that moment on, many years of work and dedication began, in which Sandra formed strong ties with the Latin community. This was thanks to the intention of sharing the Argentinean culture in another country, and making those who were far away from it feel at home.

So much effort was invested in the project and Tango Pastry had built a special community. In 2021, Sandra decided to retire, at the same time she decided that someone else had to continue with it.

In 2022, she chose Katriel Menéndez, our beloved Argentine chef, to continue this legacy. He knew his way of working and his passion for sharing the food and customs of his homeland. So she was confident that he could do it well and that he was the right one.

From that moment on, our team committed to the pursuit of business growth, and above all, the happiness of customers.

We train every employee to work with enthusiasm, and to make sure that this is transmitted in the small achievements of the bakery. And our priority is to deliver fresh and unique products that make a normal day an excellent day for our customers.

Food made with love has the power to make those who taste it feel loved. That is the idea with which we work in the kitchen. That our customers, when they eat, take with them the affection of the preparation of the food, and our gratitude for their presence.

In a quest for sharing authentic, unique-in-the-area products, the heart and soul of this project remains the same: to spread exciting Argentine culture through gastronomy with passionate Tango Pastry.
